Participating stores lacking & rewards

I did not find any participating stores in my area, not even the brand new store that opened down the street fromu house --the map
Doesnt even locate that one consistently.
I dont understand if you have to load money in order to earn spoons...? App must be even more user friendly-most rewards apps have a barcode access.... with a gift card at worst. But its best when you dont have to have your info loaded in order to earn rewards: just scanning should suffice; Or even the ability to have money pre-loaded. Good old paper punch card for me any day. Especially with this large number of non MyDq app participating stores.
In order to earn DQ treat rewards by having money preloaded is encouraging regular unhealthy eating rather than the occasional treat.
